Providing genuine warmth and care
My training and counselling approach is mainly psychodynamic, however I have a natural lean towards a more integrative way of working and recognise the need to be flexible, particularly when working with children. My way of working is adapted to suit the individual client’s needs and pulls from all models and theory at times . I offer talking therapy and the use of creative media with children. My key approach is non-directive - I accept and work with whatever the person brings to the session without judgement or prejudice . Ultimately I believe no matter what the model or training background relationship is key, building a rapport and trusted relationship and being attuned to your client and their needs is essential.

Qualified and experienced counsellor to masters degree level, specialist child/adolescent trained. Fully Insured , Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Safeguarding trained. Registered member of the British Association for counselling & Psychotherapy.
